Designed to work offline

KodaNote works offline and does not require an account. KodaNote does not use advertising, analytics or telemetry, sell your data, or upload your music library to a KodaNote service.

Your music and library

KodaNote processes your music and library information locally. Its catalogue, favourites and bookmarks are stored on your device.

Access to Files and folders is used only for music and artwork you explicitly select. Your music may be stored on external drives or with Files providers.

Apple Media Library

If you grant Media Library access, KodaNote uses it to show eligible library content and determine whether music is available for local playback.

Diagnostic logs

KodaNote keeps a diagnostic log on your device to help diagnose playback, import and source problems. It may include media details and identifiers, audio-device names and error messages containing file or source information.

Export KodaNote Log is optional and user initiated. The system share sheet lets you choose where to save or share it. KodaNote does not automatically send your library, listening activity or logs to the developer.
